We're glad you've stopped in! At Holy Trinity Anglican Church, you'll fit right in. We're a growing congregationin our fourth year of existence, and our parishioners are of all ages, backgrounds and cultures; our diversity is one of our strengths. We provide a variety of ministries to, and ministry opportunities for, everyone in our parish. The Core Values on which our church was founded are listed separately on our website, and we strive to do everything in accordance with those Core Values.
We are committed to working to reflect God's glory in Pensacola by building bridges into the surrounding community and transforming lives through numerous volunteer outlets (see our BRIDGE BUILDERS page for more information). Sunday worship services are glorious, Spirit-filled events with uplifting music, dynamic preaching, and opportunities for prayer ministry and sharing Holy Communion. We offer Children's Church for kids during our 10:30am service, so that they get the same message as their parents, but in a format geared to their learning stage. Then, families reunite to share Holy Communion. (See our SCHEDULE page for more details.)
The music at both services is blended, leaning more toward contemporary Christian music. We also organize special adult and children's traditional choral pieces throughout the year, as well as bringing in special music for holidays such as our Christmas Eve worship with carols by The Perdido Brass.
We're blessed with a terrific and energetic staff for our various ministries. The Rev. Dr. Gene May is director of all Adult Christian Education, while Brent Brummet heads our our "T-n-T" (Twenties n' Thirties) ministry for young adults. We have exciting youth and children's ministries which provide discipleship and fellowship for our younger parishioners. Stuart West brings rich experience in youth ministries, and he and his wife, Kristen, lead our junior and senior high youth. Jennie Brummet is director of children's ministries. She, too, brings a wealth of experience in a variety of church settings. Both Youth and Children's ministries schedule regular events for fun and fellowship as well as providing solid Biblical teaching and discipleship. We provide a staffed nursery for most parish events. There's Sunday school during both services, 9AM and 1030AM, but Children's and Youth Sunday school classes are offered only during the 9 o'clock hour at this time.
Services are held at 609 N Alcaniz Street in downtown Pensacola. Guests are always welcome! See our schedule page for information on service times, schedule/events and also our map page on this site for directions.
